World Skull Base Foundation provides training opportunities to doctors and paramedical professionals in the specialty of Skull Base. World Skull Base Foundation has launched its flagship training programme, The Fellowship Diplomas, organised at MS Ramiah Advanced Learning Center, Bangalore (India) is one of its kind and the first comprehensive curriculum based training programme launched in the specialty of Skull Base. The objective of this programme is to define the scope of Skull Base Surgery and get official accreditation for the same. The Fellowship Diplomas organised both in Otology-Lateral Skull Base and Rhinology-Anterior Skull Base (in alternative years) will be in the form of a set of 3 modules beginning from basic to complex, spread over one year. Each set of 3 modules will be for 5 days each with a total of 15 days of training spread over one year. The courses will include lectures, live surgeries and dissections using the best and state-of-the-art equipments that will be provided to all the participants. At the end of the course, the participants will go through an examination passing which they will be awarded a Diploma from MS Ramaiah University (Deemed University under the Government of India).
WSB Foundation Fellowship Programme
The fellowship programme is a training programme that is offered to ENT & Neurosurgeons who wish to get trained by the WSB Foundation team to acquire advance surgical techniques as well as to get involved in research and development.
WSB Observership Programme
The observership programme is a short visit training programme that is offered to ENT & Neurosurgeons who wish to join the WSB Foundation to acquire advance surgical techniques as well as to get involved in research and development.
WSB Fellowship Diploma
The Fellowship Diplomas in Skull Base Surgery are curriculum based courses that include 3 modules of 5 days each spread over one year. The courses will focus on the entire spectrum of skull base surgery.
