The World Skull Base Foundation is thrilled to announce groundbreaking academic collaborations in Russia. MoUs were signed with Federal Centre of Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation, The Sverzhevskiy Otorhinolaryngology Healthcare Research Institute & The National Medical Research Centre for Otorhinolaryngology of the Federal Medicobiological Agency of Russia.

We are on a journey of collaboration towards pathbreaking research, innovative discoveries, and transformative advancements in Skull Base surgery.

Dr. Priit Kasenomm will participate as an invited World Skull Base Foundation faculty in the 6th Cochlear Implant Surgery Workshop to be held in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka from 19th-20th May 2018.

World Skull Base Foundation faculty Dr. Albert Sufianov will be organising an International Education Course on Cerebral Revascularisation from 15th to 16th February 2018. at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Tyumen, Russia. This course will be organised in association with the Association of Neurosurgeons of the Tyumen region and the Academic department of Neurosurgery of Sechenov Univeristy.

World Skull Base Foundation Faculty Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad Rao was invited as an international faculty and delivered the Dr GS Grewal Memorial Oration at the 70th Annual Conference of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, AOICON 2018 that was held from 4th to 7th January 2018 at Indore, India. He is one of the youngest Indians to be delivering the Oration. He also delivered 2 other keynote lectures during the conference.

World Skull Base Foundation Fellowship Diploma in lateral Skull Base Surgery

World Skull Base Foundation launches its flagship event, the Fellowship Diploma in Lateral Skull Base Surgery at MS Ramaiah Advanced Learning Center. The World Skull Base Fellowship Diplomas will be held in Lateral and Anterior Skull Base Surgery every alternating year. The 3 module format has been developed to incorporate all topics in the subspecialty along with cadaveric hands on dissections. The Lateral Skull Base Fellowship Diploma to be held in 2018 includes 90 topics, 72 hours of dissections, 60 hours of lectures & 12 hours of video sessions. At the end of the course the dissectors will receive a Fellowship Diploma certificate from MS Ramaiah University of Allied Sciences. The Diploma has received an overwhelming response with registrations from 8 countries.
