Wellness and Patient Support

Nobody else would understand better the anxiety and apprehension of a patient suffering from a skull base condition than a survivor of the same condition. We at WSBF have a special programme called the 'communities programme' wherein we bring together volunteering survivors of Skull Base pathosis to form a support group to help newly diagnosed patients. We organise online and offline meetings for our members where they share and learn about their medical conditions, treatment and support. Our support programs are designed to help patients, their families and caregivers cope with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. A team of specialists is assigned to each patient according to his or her individual needs. The healthcare team creates a personalized rehabilitation plan, with the goals of increasing strength and energy, alleviating pain, improving physical functioning, achieving emotional balance and boosting the immune system. Our program is open to everyone no matter the prognosis, stage of the disease or phase of recovery.
